From Vancouver to Victoria to Toronto, Redbrick teams joined global and local events to connect with communities, share insights, and stand for innovation, equity, and intentional growth.
Over the past few months, we've had the opportunity to step into rooms, onto stages, and into the streets where ideas are tested, innovation takes root, and community thrives. From Vancouver to Toronto to right here in Victoria, we showed up to listen, learn, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of tech, work, and society.
Web Summit Vancouver

At Web Summit's North American debut in Vancouver, Redbrick CMO Marco Pimentel joined an expert panel on the evolving role of performance marketing in a rapidly shifting consumer landscape. Our COO Rory Capern partnered with BetaKit’s Douglas Soltys to deliver a master class on why Canada is uniquely positioned to grow borderless businesses—and how our tech ecosystem can lead with purpose.
But our presence was about more than panels. Web Summit brought us face-to-face with founders, technologists, and policymakers all working toward a more connected, responsible digital future. It was a moment to deepen relationships, exchange ideas, and reflect on our purpose.
TEDxVictoria: Ideas change everything

As presenting sponsor of TEDxVictoria, we helped bring a platform for bold ideas to life. Innovation doesn’t only spark in boardrooms or big cities—it grows in communities where diverse voices are heard.
The day featured talks that challenged convention and called for collective action, exploring themes from climate resilience to inclusive leadership. It reminded us that big ideas need ecosystems to thrive. That’s why we invest in spaces where imagination meets execution and where dialogue can turn into impact.
Toast Summit, Toronto: Elevating women in tech

At Toast’s inaugural Toronto Summit, Redbrickers gathered for a full-day event dedicated to empowering women in tech. Our CPOr Christine Tatham moderated a standout panel on the tough decisions leaders face when values and risk collide—and what it takes to retain and elevate women in leadership.
Beyond the stage, we connected with change-makers building workplaces where equity isn’t aspirational—it’s actionable. It was a space for candour, connection, and forward-thinking solutions.
Victoria Pride Parade: Walking together

Closer to home, we shared a pancake breakfast at our Victoria HQ before walking together in the Victoria Pride Parade. With 70,000 spectators and 140+ entries, it was more than a celebration. It was a visible stand for inclusion, equity, and joy in our community.
The energy was unforgettable, and the message clear: Pride is protest, celebration, and commitment—all in one. We were honoured to march alongside so many who share our vision for a more inclusive future.
Showing up is just the beginning
Each of these moments reflects a larger truth: meaningful change happens when people gather with purpose. Whether we're sharing insights at global summits or walking alongside neighbours at local events, Redbrick is committed to showing up with intention.
We're proud to be part of conversations that matter—and even prouder to turn those conversations into action.
