Redbrick’s very own CEO, Tobyn Sowden, has been recognized with the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Pacific Overall Award.
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award. Thank you, EY, for championing entrepreneurship and giving me the opportunity and the platform to amplify the Redbrick portfolio’s dedication to building a pathway for the next generation of business owners around the world,” says Tobyn Sowden, CEO of Redbrick.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year spotlights entrepreneurs across Canada. For over thirty years, the program has celebrated the passion, determination, character, and skill it takes to build a business.
"Any entrepreneur knows you can’t go it alone. I’d like to thank each and every Redbricker for bringing their entrepreneurial spirit to work every day. "
Tobyn Sowden, CEO of Redbrick
Sowden was one of thirty-six nominated finalists from across Canada’s Pacific region. The judges’ panel recognized the extensive work Sowden and Redbrick have done to create possibilities for Canada’s entrepreneurs.
“As a seasoned entrepreneur, Tobyn uses his knowledge to help other innovators succeed by guiding them through the complex stages of growing their businesses with strategic advice and services,” shares Anita Chang, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Pacific program director. “His visionary approach and commitment to equipping entrepreneurs with comprehensive services truly capture the spirit of groundbreaking entrepreneurship.”
Sowden founded a marketing agency in 2011 and scaled it into the fifth fastest-growing company in Canada and one of Canada’s Top Small and Medium Employers five years running—the Redbrick we know (and love) today. His commitment to using business to make a positive impact is the driver behind Redbrick’s B Corp Certification and our mission to support entrepreneurs.
"Tobyn’s recognition is a testament to his impactful leadership and innovative vision. His visionary approach has not only driven Redbrick’s remarkable success but has also set a new standard for excellence in the tech industry. "
