We’re thrilled to announce that Redbrick has been named one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 100 Tech Companies in B.C. for 2019. The ranking was awarded to Redbrick for achieving extraordinary team growth in 2018—placing Redbrick alongside other, long-standing ‘industry heavyweights’ such as Amazon, Telus Corp, and Rogers Communications.
“Growing a thriving technology company in B.C. has come with many challenges and opportunities. The talent we have been able to attract has been the key to our growth and success.” – Nicole Lee, Director of People and Operations, Redbrick.
What started as a small team in a cramped downtown Victoria office has grown into a powerhouse team of innovators and leaders who work as hard as they play. Tapping into the strengths across our uniquely talented team has allowed us to innovate faster and scale rapidly. Not to mention it’s landed us on award stages and front pages both locally and beyond—Assembly, our digital publishing company, was recently announced as a finalist for the Digiday Digital Publishing Awards in the category of ‘Best Use of Audience Data.’
Over the years, our business has evolved, but our commitment to our team has never wavered. Our people are to Redbrick as Steve Jobs is to Apple—they’re one and the same. And this core value underpins almost every decision we make as a company, whether it’s flexible work hours, RRSP matching, or simply making Redbrick a warm and welcoming place to come to work every day.
Hiring with care and a forward-focus on what’s to come has allowed us to innovate ahead of the curve. As a result, we have built a team of wildly intelligent and hardworking people that have only fueled our growth.
And we’re not stopping anytime soon. As we look to the future and beyond, we will continue to put our people first and recruit for those who share our core DNA.
With our sights set high, and a fancy new 21,000 sqft downtown office, the Redbrick team looks forward to amplifying our growth as one of B.C.’s top players in the tech industry.
